If you want to get one of the best views of the city of Dijon, then you should head for the Tower of Phillip the Good, or the Tour Phillippe le Bon as it is otherwise known. The beautiful tower was constructed in the 15th Century as a piece of defence for the city, allowing good views out into the Burgundy countryside. Today those views are a little more limited, but guided tours are provided at a small charge every 45 minutes throughout the main tourist season.
