This wonderful abbey dates from the 12th Century and has for many hundreds of years been associated with the community of the Immaculate Conception, a solemn place of worship and service to God. The building is open to visitors in its entirety, despite the fact it is populated by a working community of monks still. In the summer months the fabulous gardens come into bloom and really compliment the ancient buildings at the core of the complex.
