Situated close to the large Claude Monet Museum, this exhibition s also dedicated to impressionist painters, but instead of the great Frenchman, to the Americans who flocked to this area to be inspired in the late 19th Century and early 20th Century. The large museum is filled with great artworks that have grown out of the movement, inspired by French scenes, but somehow also having an American charm to them that is hard to explain without seeing the paintings
