Hidden away within the walls of the chateau is a good sized archaeology museum which has a vast collection of artefacts that has been built up over many years. The museum has taken pieces from the many local archaeological digs that have gone on in this area of the Pyrenees as well as having exhibits from other parts of France. The collection helps visitors to understand the way that communities in these mountainous areas have changed and developed over the last few thousand years.
