The Archaeology Museum of Grenoble is situated to the east of the Fort de la Bastille, on the northern banks of the river. The interesting museum is crammed full of artefacts and interesting discoveries that have been made in the area over the last few hundred years of excavation. Some of the samples pre-date Roman times and have helped scientists with clues as to how we lived and managed to evolve into the beings that we are today.
