The Bishop’s Palace is connected to the large double cathedral of Notre Dame and St. Hugues, and was unsurprisingly, once the residence of the Bishop of Grenoble. It is thought that the building was constructed at some time in the 14th Century. Today, it is home to three separate museums, each exploring a different aspect of art and culture. The museums are; the Museum of Sacred art, the Museum of Jean Archard and the Archaeological Crypt. All museums can be accessed with the same ticket.
