Dauphin Gardens are more than your average city garden. They sprawl for a large area from the river at the lowest point, up the hillside towards the immense Fort de la Bastille. The beautiful section of land has been protected by the local authority, providing a place that the local people and visitors alike can go and escape the busy streets of the city.
