This museum is situated outside of the old town, at the foot of the hill that leads up to the majestic Fort de la Bastille. The beautiful museum is best accessed by crossing the Pont St. Laurent footbridge and walking from the town centre. Within, the exhibition is filled with exciting artefacts and artworks that relate to the way that people in the region have lived. The displays attempt to explain through looking at the past, the reason the present is at it is.
