Sometimes the Museum of Grenoble is referred to as the Museum of Fine Art. It is one of the best regarded museums in the region. The brilliant collection contains great works of art from a variety of well known European painters from the 15th Century to the 20th Century. Some of those painters and sculptors represented include Matisse, Picasso, Sisley, Rubens and Chagall to name but a few. The museum is open throughout the week to the general public.
