Foix is surrounded by some of the most spectacular parts of the Pyrenees mountain range. This centre specialises in getting tourists out into the mountains, taking part in a variety of events and activities. One of the favourites is canoeing and rafting on the nearby fast running river, for which you are provided with an experienced guide and all the appropriate safety equipment. If this sounds a little too extreme, you could always try one of the hiking adventures or take a mountain bike for a spin.
