St. Louis Church is one of the largest and most centrally located of the historic ecclesiastical buildings in Grenoble. It isn’t quite in the league of the enormous Notre Dame Cathedral in the city, but it has been recognised for many years as being one of the best preserved ancient churches. The interior and exterior have been well looked after and the features of the building include a series of wonderful stained glass and some wooden carvings from the 16th Century.
