The French relationship with Africa has been somewhat of a contentious point for many centuries, but whatever state it has been in, there has always been a very close link between the continent and France. This museum which opened in 1927 has on display an amazing array of artefacts that have been collected from across Africa, with a concentration on the French controlled areas of West Africa, and they have been assembled in an interesting and informative way that educates and entertains visitors.
