The beach is one of the best features of this small seaside town. It is a long stretch of golden sands that is found to the south of the main town centre and enjoys a good shelter from the elements thanks to the way the land moves out on peninsulas at either end of the beach. It is a popular place for sunbathers in the summer as both local and visiting people like to spend time here and enjoy the fine environment.
