This beach is the most centrally located in this town that is famous for its beaches. It offers something for everyone because it is situated at the mouth to the large basin bay that sits to the west of the town. Therefore it is nowhere near as sheltered as the beach in the bay, but not as unprotected as the beaches that face the Atlantic Ocean directly. The result is a good looking beach with good access to the local facilities.
