Built in the early 14th Century, this is without much doubt the most spectacular secular building in the town of Josselin. The imposing structure towers above much of the community with four of the original stone towers still standing. The rooms of the chateau were almost all restored during the 19th Century and are some of the best examples of high society decorations on display in the region. The chateau is open daily to the public.
