A product of a grand building campaign that took place in the 11th and 12th Centuries, this church is one of the historical architectural masterpieces at the heart of the old city. The church is well known for its enormous doorway that has been carved intricately and carefully. The huge octagonal towers were added to the church a few hundred years after its conception and have become one of the lasting symbols of the community.
