The Dordogne River in places becomes a large and influential river around which many communities in France have been built. At this stage in its progression it is still rather small, but just as beautiful. Winding through the town, there are several paths that can be followed alongside the confluence leading you through the community and out into the spectacular surrounding countryside. It really is a great place to go for a walk if you want pastoral beauty.
