It is thought that this is one of the oldest remaining churches in the city of Lyon, located at the heart of the old town area. It is mentioned in a textbook written in the 9th Century, and is thought to have always had a place of importance in the city community. The church is built in a Romanesque style, but has been added to throughout the last thousand years and sports a fantastic gothic set of towers on the central façade.
