A little way out of the immediate historic town centre, this large public park is a particular favourite with local people. The land has been designated for public use for many generations, and therefore the park has had time to evolve and bloom into a wonderful pastoral environment within the city. Many like to take time out from their busy metropolitan lives and use the park as a form of therapy, with the wind blowing through the trees, the flowers blooming and the sun shining, there are few nicer places to be.
