The Grand Theatre in Limoges is one of the institutions of the city, a centre for social and cultural exchange for many generations. The beautiful building houses a good sized auditorium which hosts a variety of stage performances throughout the year. As well as showing work by established writers and directors, the theatre management occasionally like to show works by local and up and coming artists. The theatre is from time to time used for musical theatre and events.
