This quite outstanding mansion was built as a private house in the 15th Century, and purchased by the city in the 17th Century. It is a remarkably well preserved example of architecture in this era. It has for a long time been the home of a small museum. Visitors can walk through the central courtyard, a typical feature of large houses in this area at the time, and marvel at the detailed stonework. The museum carries a large selection of paintings, arefacts and sculptures relating to the area.
