Macon La Salle is a beautiful viewing area on a hill that overlooks the small community. It is used as a motorway service area by the users of the nearby road, but it is far more than a place to park a car. There is some nice looking woodland that surrounds the picnic area and several paths that lead down through countryside towards the town. It is well worth a walk through some of these beautiful paths to really get a feel for the local countryside.
