This gallery remains popular with local people because it almost entirely focuses on the works of local artists who have grown up in the area or have performed a significant body of work in or around Lyon. Most of the paintings are what most would consider contemporary art and throughout the year there are several exhibitions, some of which will focus on one artists and others that are ensemble pieces with a theme that all the works are concerned with.
