This good looking museum is the only municipal museum in the town and brings together a large collection of work and artefacts that have been collected over a period of many thousands of years of there being a settlement in the area. There is a particular focus on pre-history and archaeology in the museum which has been put together in such a way as to appeal to both young and old. The collection is well explained in a series of languages.
