The Municipal Theatre is located at the heart of the town and makes for one of the most popular places of evening entertainment. Housed in a good looking building the theatre offers an eclectic programme of events throughout the year that range from new writing efforts to the more traditional plays of the French master playwrights. There are on occasion musical and comedy acts performing at the theatre.
