The history of Lyon is one of the longest and most interesting of any of the major cities in France. Dating back well into Roman times, the story started for this settlement in 43BC. This fascinating museum takes visitors on a journey from the very earliest Roman days through to the modern day. There are seventeen separate sections in the gallery, each dedicated to a different type of artefact that has been discovered and collected.
