The town museum is simply filled with artefacts and documents that relate to the long and interesting history of this town. There are a great deal of works of art that have been created by local or locally influenced people as well as some pieces of period and antique furniture on display. The museum takes visitors on a walk into the history of the region, entertaining and at some times shocking along the way.
