This delightful museum is housed in a fine old mansion house close to the centre of La Rochelle. The focus of the museum is three-fold. The main exhibitions are concerned with the history of the town, the way it has developed, and asking questions as to how the future may affect La Rochelle. The other parts of the museum are broadly related to Asian artworks, of which there are a great collection and ceramics which have been collected from across the globe.
