The pleasure port at Jard sur Mer is a wonderful place to visit, protected by a large peninsular that stretches out into the Atlantic, it is a clam and tranquil environment, filled with little boats. There are a couple of seasonal boating tour companies that offer rides out of the port and take tourists along the coast to take in some of the best sights that are available, most of which are only accessible from the sea. The port is a nice place to sit and watch the world go by.
