The Rambling Centre is located at the heart of Lyon and although set amidst an urban metropolis, it is primarily concerned with the beautiful surrounding countryside. The members have made it their task to educate and people about the risks to the environment that humans can cause by not acting in a responsible way. As well as this, the centre provides a first class base camp for anyone looking to go and explore the countryside in this area of France, as maps and guides are on sale as well as a series of highly recommended pre-planned walks.
