One of the great institutions of the long and illustrious Lyonnais art scene, this gallery is the best place to go if you want to see Lyonnais paintings at their very best. The museum and gallery is home to works that have been created by painters and sculptors who have lived in the city for several hundred years. The majority of the works date from the early to mid 19th Century and represent a flavour of the city that perhaps is harder to see in much busier times today.
