Some galleries are extremely specialist in their nature and others like to take a broader overview of painting and sculpture, this gallery is certainly in the latter school. The interesting collection examines a 20th Century of art from the outside in, examining the many types of painters and sculptors who have developed in France, both in Paris and Lyon over the century, and many of their works are on show, from the more famous to the relatively obscure.
