This building was built at the beginning of the 16th Century and takes its name from the sculpture on the façade, which represented Hercule and the Centaur Nessus. It is certainly one of the better looking historical pieces of architecture in the medieval city and has attracted tourists and enthusiasts to browse through the building for many years, much of which has been preserved exactly as when it was first constructed.
