Standing opposite the great basilica, this interesting piece of 20th Century architecture is an eighty metre high replica of the Eiffel Tower. Often living in the shadows of the capital, this building has been somewhat of a contentious issue in the city for almost a century. It once had a restaurant up it, but now it is used primarily as a television relay station. Although it isn’t as high or as impressive as its older brother in central Paris, there is a charm about it that keeps tourists coming back for another look.
