The town hall is of course one of the best looking and most important buildings in this small community. It has always been somewhat overshadowed by the grand palaces and papal residences of Avignon which is only just across the river. Despite the importance of the nearby neighbour, the architects of this building have given it a certain charm and dignity of its own, making for an interesting smaller place to visit in the area.
