Situated at the end of the Grand Rue is the famous abbey that so many people come from around the world to see. The history of the building is long and interesting, dating well back over a thousand years. You are able to walk around most of the abbey without a tour guide once you are inside, although there are several services available in English if you would like to learn more. There are several smaller churches and cloisters located within the abbey which is one of the great sights of the French coastline.
