Ancienne Pouderie
Rue De l’Ancienne Porte Neuve, Narbonne 11100 - France

Map
This is the only monumental building in Narbonne that is related to the military history of the area and the country. Translating literally as ‘the old powder magazine’ this charming piece of architecture was once a store for gunpowder and munitions. The original building was constructed in the 17th and 18th Century although the majority of what you can see here is a newer building which carries the same importance as a military icon.
