This wonderful piece of architectural history is quite unique because it is the only remaining Roman theatre that retains its stage wall. It was constructed in the early Christian era and has for many centuries served as one of the major places of entertainment and culture in the town. Today, the theatre is still used to host an eclectic mixture of events throughout the year and is one of the most popular attractions in the area.
