The Augustin tower looms above the small buildings around this monastery, and is one of many religious symbols in the architecture of the city. The fine looking structure was built in 1315 and is still standing, although most of the surrounding building has begun to crumble and fade. It is a popular attraction because it is visible from across the city and really belongs to a completely different age.
