Blossac Park was designed in the 18th Century and is one of the most well loved attractions in the heart of the old city. A beautifully landscaped park it attracts wildlife from across the region and has some great examples of local flowers and plants, beautifully displayed. It has become a very popular destination, particularly in the summer months, for local people and tourists to enjoy picnics in, and to simply rest and relax in the summer sun.
