There is very little more French that you can do than play a game of Petanque or Boule as it is often known as in France. This variant on the game of bowls is one of the national games in France and is well observed by many of the local people in this town, especially on weekend afternoons and evenings. Even if you don’t want to play, just observing the men and women play will make you know that you’re in France and afford some fine photo opportunities.
