The canal is one of the most recognisable symbols in this town and travels through the heart of the community, bringing trade in times gone by, but today bringing boats full of tourists who are following its path. It is a great pathway to follow as it intersects the town and passes some of the best looking buildings before winding off into the countryside, framed by the beautiful fields and trees of the area.
