The Cathedral of Saint Cyr is one of the most important pieces of architecture, ecclesiastical or secular, in the city and is one of the most dominant looking buildings at the heart of the city. There is a combination of different styles employed on the building, beginning in the 14th Century, of which much of the Gothic style is still on offer. However, changes in the 15th and 16th Century have made the building an interesting hybrid of structures, appealing to the eye.
