The church of St. Froy once stood on this site, and the arch of the chapel was one of the supporting elements of the ancient church, which was all but destroyed in the 16th Century. What is left is this beautiful chapel building, which is home to the White Penitent order. Like many of the ancient chapels in the heart of the city, this building is adorned with paintings and frescos that inspire even the most hardened of art critics.
