This house was the home of the great poet and political thinker Charles Maurras. He was a very controversial figure during the 20th Century because of his ‘Action Francais’ movement which was anti-government and pro-monarchy, challenging the very principles upon which the republic was built. The house is open for the public to view some of his works and the conditions in which he came up with his many hypotheses.
