Charles Trenet was a successful poet and songwriter who called Narbonne home. He was born in this house and grew up there, and in fact his mother continued to live there for almost all of her life. At the beginning of the 21st Century the beautiful property was converted into a small museum where visitors could see the interior of the house and some of the family treasures. It also contains many of Trenet’s original compositions in a fascinating exhibition.
