This little resort town is situated a little way inland from the actual coast on the canal, and is a popular place for visitors to stay when they are on their summer holidays. One of the prime attractions are the beaches, of which there are two main sandy areas. This beach runs along the side of the canal and is a good place to go with young children and families because the water is much calmer than in the open sea, and with many nearby amenities.
