Situated in the west of Nice in an area that overlooks the city, the Botanic Gardens are set in three hectares of wonderful landscaped parkland. It is a strange phenomenon, but although a great place to view the city and a fine place to relax and get away from the busy streets, the area isn’t frequented by a great deal of the city people. Tourists therefore are treated to a largely empty expanse of cultured gardens and parklands maintained to the highest level.
