The beautiful little river flows around the edge of the old town and today acts mainly as a decoration, but at one point in history was once used as a form of defence. Today visitors enjoy walking around at the edge of the town, following the river, enjoying some of the best views of the community. The river path continues for many miles beyond the town and if you follow it you end up in the countryside, surrounded by lovely animals and plants.
