This fine looking old barn has been converted many time throughout its long history in the city. At one time it was used as a covered market, providing a place where local people could trade without having to face the elements. Today it is used as a sort of interactive local museum, filled with a great many displays that you are introduced to by an audio guide. It takes you on a journey through the social and political history of the borough.
